● Electric utility, sightseeing & special-purpose vehicles, engineered in Suzhou since 2012

Questions we are asked before every order.

Range figures, battery chemistry, charger voltage, lead times, warranty and support. If your question is not here, send it through the enquiry form and an engineer will answer it directly.

We manufacture pure-electric four-wheel vehicles: sightseeing shuttles from 2 to 14 seats, patrol vehicles, flatbed carriers and cargo trucks from 0.5 to 15 tonnes, tipper bodies, classic tour cars, golf carts, and special-purpose conversions including mobile police kiosks, food delivery units, mobile retail units, parade floats, refuse vehicles and fire response vehicles. We also supply the hardware, mechanical and electrical products that support those vehicles.

Likaiside was established in 2012 as a joint-stock high-technology company. The group now includes four wholly owned companies — Suzhou Likaiside Electric Vehicle, Suzhou Likaiside New Energy Technology, Shaanxi Likaiside New Energy and Suzhou Langge New Energy — supported by three partner manufacturing plants.

Our published ranges are working figures, not laboratory maximums. They assume a loaded vehicle, repeated stops, some gradient and, where relevant, climate control running. A scenic shuttle typically returns 80 to 95 km per charge; the same vehicle with air conditioning running continuously returns around 70 to 82 km. We publish both numbers because a range figure that only holds on a flat empty test track is not useful to an operator.

Lead-acid is cheaper per unit and adequate for vehicles that run a single shift and charge overnight. Lithium costs more upfront but delivers roughly three times the cycle life and charges in around two hours, which allows higher utilisation from fewer vehicles. As a rule: if a vehicle must run more than one shift per day, or if charging time limits your operation, lithium pays back within the warranty period.

Yes. Chargers are configured to 110 V, 220 V single-phase or 380 V three-phase depending on your market and site. A standard shuttle draws about 16 A at 220 V and needs no dedicated charging hall — a wall socket per vehicle is sufficient for overnight charging. Tell us your supply during specification and we match the charger to it.

Standard models typically ship 25 to 40 days after the build sheet is confirmed, depending on configuration and season. Custom builds — mobile shops, floats, fire units — take longer because bodywork and interior fit-out are made to order. Container loading is arranged from Shanghai port, and we provide loading plans and English documentation.

Yes. We build to customer brand: body colour and graphics, seating layouts, control interfaces, badging and packaging. For ODM programmes we work with your product team on the specification and develop tooling where a new body style is required. Export customers in Finland, the United States, Vietnam and Thailand currently run configured vehicles from our plant.

Every vehicle carries a free one-year whole-vehicle warranty, followed by lifetime maintenance service. Battery warranty terms differ between lead-acid and lithium chemistries and are stated separately on the quotation. Consumables — tyres, brake pads, wiper blades — are excluded from the whole-vehicle cover.

We maintain service points in close to 24 provinces and cities domestically, with branch companies in selected provinces, and 24/7 online support for operating fleets. For export customers, support is delivered remotely with English-language manuals and video procedures, supplemented by scheduled engineer visits for fleet commissioning and training.

We encourage it. Customers and distributors are welcome to inspect vehicles, run a model on our 20% gradient test rig and meet the engineering team. Please request a visit through the enquiry form on our contact page so we can prepare the specific models you want to see.

Usually, yes. Most of our special-purpose range began as a customer request — mobile police stations, medical vehicles, school buses and food delivery units all started that way. Send a description of the duty and we will tell you honestly whether it is a sensible conversion of an existing platform or needs new tooling.

There is no minimum for standard catalogue models — single vehicles are supplied regularly to resorts, campuses and municipal buyers. Custom and OEM programmes are quoted individually, because tooling and bodywork costs are amortised differently depending on volume.

Still deciding?

Send the route, not a request for a catalogue.

The fastest way to a useful answer is to describe the duty: where the vehicle runs, how far per day, how many passengers or how much payload, and what gradient it has to climb. We will come back with a configuration and an honest range figure.

Tell us the route. We will specify the vehicle.

Send your passenger count, terrain, daily distance and charging setup. Our engineers reply with a configuration, a realistic range figure and a delivered price — usually within one business day.
