Sightseeing
The flagship open-sided shuttle that carries guests through parks and heritage districts in quiet comfort.
Best suited to: Scenic areas, resorts, city tours. Manufactured to order in Suzhou; typical lead time 25–40 days depending on configuration.
The Scenic Sightseeing Shuttle is the model that built our reputation in China's heritage parks and A-class scenic areas. Its LM platform pairs a welded ladder frame with an open-sided body, so passengers board quickly at every stop and never lose the view. Operators choose it when a route has to run continuously from opening to closing time without a recharge window.
Every shuttle leaves our Suzhou plant after a 20% grade climbing test on our own ramp rig. That test is not a marketing claim: gradients are where electric shuttles fail first, and we would rather find the limit in the factory than on your route.
The body sits on a hot-dip galvanised steel chassis with a 2.75 m wheelbase, giving the vehicle a tight 5.6 m turning circle that suits narrow scenic lanes. Panels are moulded from UV-stabilised fibre-reinforced composite, which resists fading in strong sun and will not dent like sheet metal when a passenger leans on it.
Seating is arranged in three forward-facing rows plus a rear bench. Each row has its own grab handle, and the aisle is 320 mm wide so a guide can walk through while the shuttle is moving. The floor is a single-piece anti-slip composite moulding with no seams to trap sand or water.
A 48 V AC induction drivetrain delivers 5 kW continuous and 9 kW peak, enough to hold 25 km/h on the flat and 12 km/h on a 20% incline with a full load. Range under real scenic duty — repeated stops, partial loads, a few climbs per lap — measures 80 to 95 km per charge.
Charging is deliberately simple. The onboard charger accepts a standard 220 V single-phase supply and brings the pack from 30% to full in about six hours overnight, so a fleet needs no dedicated charging hall, only a wall socket per vehicle.
Most of these shuttles go to three kinds of site: municipal scenic areas that need a scheduled loop service, private resorts that use them for guest transfers between a lobby and a beach or golf course, and exhibition grounds that need to move visitors between halls all day.
Owners of larger parks typically standardise on this model plus the LM Patrol for security rounds, because the two share batteries, controllers and brake components — one spare-parts kit covers both.
