Classic styling is a year-round business only if the vehicle is usable in winter. The Fully Enclosed Classic Tour Car keeps the vintage bodywork but seals the cabin with laminated safety glass and adds a heater, so operators can run the same fleet in January as in July.

City tour operators and wedding hire companies are its two main buyers, because both need a vehicle that customers will photograph but also want to sit inside.

Design and construction

All glazing is laminated safety glass, not acrylic — a decision made for passenger safety in the event of an impact, and one that costs more but is not negotiable on a passenger-carrying vehicle. Windows are framed in polished stainless rather than chrome-plated steel, which avoids pitting in wet climates.

The heater is a silent 1.2 kW unit drawing from the auxiliary circuit, with demisting vents directed at the windscreen and side glass. Interior lighting runs off the door switches so the cabin lights when a passenger boards in the evening.

Performance in real operation

Range with heating running is 58–72 km, slightly reduced from the open model as expected. The 48 V drivetrain, 25 km/h speed and 18% gradeability carry over unchanged, as do the service procedures.

A useful detail for city operators: the sealed body improves the vehicle's acoustic performance, cutting road and traffic noise so a guide can speak at normal volume without amplification.

Where this model is used

Cold-climate city tours, winter wedding transfers and VIP hire in wet regions. Operators in northern China report using the enclosed version for eight months a year and the open version for four, running both from the same service kit.
