Industrial & Utility
Heavy-duty electric haulage for closed-site industrial routes where diesel is being phased out.
Best suited to: Ports, steel yards, heavy plant sites. Manufactured to order in Suzhou; typical lead time 25–40 days depending on configuration.
Inside ports, steel yards and heavy plant sites, diesel haulage is increasingly restricted for air-quality and noise reasons — but the loads have not got lighter. The 15-Tonne Flatbed Electric Truck is built for that gap: a genuine heavy-duty electric platform for closed-site routes where a road-legal truck is unnecessary and a light flatbed is inadequate.
It shares our heavy chassis architecture with the 5-tonne truck, scaled up with a 72 V drivetrain and a 15,000 kg rated deck.
The main rails run 200 × 80 mm with cross-members at 250 mm centres, and the deck is 8 mm steel plate over a reinforced subframe — plate, not board, because loads at this mass will crush anything softer. Sixteen lashing points are recessed into the deck edge so chains sit flush.
Braking is dual-circuit hydraulic with a spring-applied, air-released parking brake: if pressure is lost, the vehicle fails safe rather than rolling. Given the mass involved, this is not a detail we compromise on.
A 72 V AC drivetrain delivers 12 kW continuous and 22 kW peak, moving a fully loaded vehicle at 20 km/h with 8% gradeability loaded. Range is 55–65 km — deliberately conservatively stated, because heavy-load duty varies enormously between sites.
A telematics port exposes state of charge, cumulative kWh and fault codes to a fleet system, so maintenance can be scheduled on actual duty cycles rather than calendar intervals.
Port container yards, steel coil storage, precast concrete plants and heavy fabrication sites use this model to replace short diesel truck runs inside the gate. Operators report that noise reduction alone changes the working environment, since a loaded electric truck at 20 km/h is quieter than a conversation.
