Industrial & Utility
A full cargo body for palletised loads with a low tailgate for hand-truck access.
Best suited to: Campus logistics, depot transfers. Manufactured to order in Suzhou; typical lead time 25–40 days depending on configuration.
The 5-Tonne Electric Cargo Truck is the workhorse of campus and depot logistics: large enough to move meaningful volumes, small enough to use a normal service road, and quiet enough to run through a residential or hospital campus at any hour.
It is a road-oriented platform — 45 km/h top speed and full lighting — which distinguishes it from pure yard vehicles and makes it suitable for a distribution centre serving several nearby sites.
The cargo body is a steel-skinned enclosure on a 2,600 mm bed, with a 900 mm drop tailgate so a hand truck or a small forklift can load without a dock. Optional side panels open to give pallet access along the length, which speeds multi-drop routes considerably.
Inside, a removable partition divides the bay for mixed loads — chilled goods forward, general cargo aft — without permanently reducing capacity. Door hardware is recessed so it cannot catch on packing film.
A 72 V drivetrain gives 45 km/h top speed and 90–110 km range loaded, enough for a full depot delivery round without returning to charge. Gradeability is 15% loaded, which covers most urban ramps and depot approaches.
Regenerative braking recovers energy on urban stop-start routes and, importantly, extends brake service life on vehicles that may run 200 stops a day.
Hospital campuses use it for pharmacy and supplies runs; university grounds teams use it for maintenance materials; food distributors use it for chilled depot-to-outlet deliveries within a city. The common thread is a route that is too short for a road truck to justify and too long for a flatbed.
